I love Amazon. 

Because 1) shopping is nice and easy 2) I'm a former employee and have true love and respect to them

And, most importantly,

one of their delivery boxes is just perfect for cats to rest in.

Like this. Almost like a shoe box but taller. That's what cats like. 

 Kiki is dying to jump in.

So I decided to do a quick DYI and make a cat bed with the box.

All you need is simple materials and...

Cat(s) to try the bed later when it's done. 

About 1 hour later...

Done! 

Rum is trying it out. 

"Not bad" says Rum. 

 I made a matching pillow, too.

It's been a couple of years since we moved to this place and finally we finished decorating our bedroom.

The Hungry Cat

We are on a vacation in Santa Barbara CA right now. 

This restaurant The Hungry Cat is our favorite place because of all the little cat details!

I seriously want that floor mat. 

We are having a great time here but miss our giggly cats so much! Heading back home tomorrow.

I repeated many times that our cats love these elevation shelves from Contempo Cat (click!) but specially this particular shelf seems their favorite. 

I think it's because they can see what's going on in the kitchen while I'm cooking. 

This is the view from the kitchen.

It's nice for me to be able to see anyone on the shelf, too.

Welcome to our bedroom

The cats have several napping spots in the house but when they sleep at night, they usually sleep in their beds.

These window mounted cat beds (click!) are very strong and seem comfortable.

Sometimes Kiki and Rum sleep together in one bed but the suction cups never come off. Very impressive!
